Cuvee 30a - Reservar una mesa

Our experience began with a refusal to allow us to cancel our reservation without paying $40/person to do so. We decided to keep the table, it was not a good experience. The waiter did an ok job until the food started to arrive at different times, when the bill time came the waiter disappeared with our card. Overall, the restaurant is not what Tim Crehan was known for over the past 20 years. The decor is not a beach concept but more of Las Vegas meets Destin. Fine dining should have tablecloths. The competition is too good along 30-A to choose this restaurant. The food quality was not good, the ingredients were all there but the execution in the kitchen was not done. Will not be going back.

My expectations were very high for this restaurant. The food was good, but not close to some of the restaurants I've visited. The tuna was excellent but the portion was very small. My wife's filet mignon was overcooked and was an average steak. The waiter really sold us on the steak so I was disappointed when it wasn't excellent. The mashed potatoes were very good as were the salads. The banana cream pie was excellent.

Food and service were lovely. Lots of delicious wine was also enjoyed. Our table in the front side room corner was really crummy, though. It felt like we were in a tiny bland/drab event room the ambiance there does't match up with the main dining area.

We love Couvee 30A It is one of our favorite restaurants. On this day we celebrated our friends birthday in the bar area. It was so nice that the musician was there and the bar area was perfect for dinner and relaxation.

The food was very disappointing. My shrimp cocktail had soggy tasteless shrimp. Our salads were grossly overdressed. My daughter's tuna had excessive amounts of pepper. The bread was stale and cold.
