Da Chen - Reserva de mesa

My mother and I stopped by Da Chen for lunch today after my medical appointment in Philadelphia. We are avid fans of this restaurant and have been loyal customers whenever we're in the area. We started our meal with cheese wontons, and then we both enjoyed wonderful lunch combinations: I ordered the chicken with cashew nuts, while my mother had the twice-cooked pork. We also shared a hot and sour soup, pork and shrimp egg rolls, and pork fried rice, all included in our meal combos. Everything was delicious, as always, and the fantastic roasted noodles with duck sauce were a highlight as well. The service was excellent, but I should note that we were one of only two tables dining at the time, so I can't comment on how it might be when it's busier. However, they were handling a steady stream of take-out orders, and our food came out quickly. The meal itself was very good and affordable. I tried a sizzling beef and scallop dish, which featured lean beef and perfectly cooked scallops. The Chinese pizza, or scallion pancake, was crispy and not greasy at all.

Absolutely delicious! The food was fresh and served hot. The Egg Roll is undoubtedly the best in the area. The Crispy Noodles are the thick, airy variety, which I love! The Spicy Orange Flavored Chicken had a nice kick to it, which was fantastic. The Pork Lo Mein features a wonderful mix of vegetables, and the Chicken Fried Rice is an essential item on the menu that you shouldn't miss.

The wontons were incredibly chewy, and the Fried Cheese Wonton lacked flavor. The Sweet and Sour Chicken sauce was quite watery and not very flavorful, although the chicken itself was tasty. The Pork Fried Rice, however, was delicious and makes for excellent leftovers! Reserva una mesa ahora

Lamb Hunan Style was alright. most of the food was fairly bland. Boneless Spare Ribs were half broccoli as an app so we barely got any ribs at all. Hot Sour Soup tasted musky like cheap tofu. the Yu Shiang Broccoli was pretty decent though

This place is amazing! The food is always fresh and packed with flavor. I've been dining here for 30 years and there's no better Chinese restaurant in Pennsylvania. Thank you, Da Chen!
