Da gallo is a small cozy off the beaten path Italian restaurant. The staff is great the menu is not too big and the food... well the food is phenomenal and affordable. We went with friends had the full course from starters to main dish...with wine and dessert and i cam say with enormous satisfaction if was a great night. If you crave for a bit of Mediterranean flavors to break the usual flavors of German cuisine, this is the place to go fresh pasta al dente great fish starters accompanied by a nice wine and company, well what can beat this? I give a big thumbs up and wish them to keep up the good work. I strongly recommend this gastronomical experience.
I visited this place at the fairy was happy to get a table as the place was almost full. very cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff. and eating was simply great! I ordered vitello tonato and pasta frutti di mare. the portions were really big and incredibly delicious. beside German tap-beers they also had Italian beer. I strongly recommend this place. excellent value for money! suggest to order a table, otherwise they may not have a table to sit.
we have just made a short one-night stop in nürnberg and since we were tired and quite hungry after a long trip, we have tried to find something fun and not too complicated. we had luck to come up over there gallos, delicious fresh pasta, solid house white wine...and profiteroli. they were also friendly enough to host and water our dog, which we really appreciated.
we had just arrived in Nuremburg and found this restaurant around the corner of our hotel, it had just opened so we had luck getting a table as they are very busy and in the rule they need to book. eating is amazing, so is. the wine, service, atmosphere etc. could not blame them if they love to eat Italian go to this restaurant.

We ordered two pastas and a bottle of the house wine. All the pastas use fresh fettuccini which can make for some untraditional combinations. The sausage pasta was good but was very salty. Also, the sausage was cooked whole and then sliced into rounds. The...amatriciana was good. The house wine was good and was a good value.
Business dinner. The host was awesome and we were made to feel at home. We had an antipasto starter platter to share for the table which was tasty! Most of us had fresh fettuccini with truffle which was absolutely decadent! Their pasta dishes are highly...recommended as is their selection of Italian wines. I'll be back!
Not everyday you get served by the chef except here. Every aspect of the meal was excellent and the service was outstanding. I'd recommend to go early (before or else make a reservation for this very small place. One is missing out if...they go to Nuremberg and do not experience this restaurant.
Found the place just next to our hotel. The place you just like as a holiday visitor. Perfect food and relaxing but on-the-toe service. We will try it again beefore leaving Nürnberg.

We had a very nice dinner at Da Gallo, a must in every visit to Nuremberg. Don't miss it. TOP Pasta and tiramisu! Very good service.
