my turkish wife and my parents had a wonderful evening at this typical italian restaurant. my wife and I always sleep at the kempinski 10min away by car and as we already knew the restaurant, we wanted to take my parents out for a wonderful dinner. staff, food and ambient are very italian and on a high level. prices are very fair for what quality you get there. and when there is truffel season the owner is really generous with the portions. best veal filet ever, high quality of risotto and a great selection of good italian wine. all in all I can very highly recommend this restaurant. A group of us enjoyed a nice dinner and without question, I would recommend the restaurant. We all had either the salmon or mixed grilled fish: of the two, I believe the salmon was the better choice. While the mixed grill has salmon, prawn, and calamari, the salmon-only dish provided twice as much of this perfectly-prepared fish. I had a side of green beans and potatoes. I started with the beef carpaccio which I thought lacked flavor, compares to other Italian restaurants of the same level: for this reason, I would not recommend it. The desserts are very nice with creme broule being the favorite. Also, plenty of nice bread and the service level was very good.
We went here randomly for a business dinner, and it was probably the best decision for this area! Great staff and very attentive service. The waiters were kind enough to to explain the menu since no one in our group was native German. The food portions were just the right size, for an area where enormous portions are a norm! I'd definitely visit this place again!
I was amazed by the length of the menu and the very many specials. Everybody will be able to find something here. Four of us went for a business type lunch. Service and food were great. Even though we had small portions for lunch, we were comp'ed a dessert for each of us. Definitely will go back for dinner.

...this Restaurant is one of the best in Germany. Doesn't matter if you have a business lunch, a family gathering or a romantic Dinner. Staff is very kind and always helpful. The Owner himself is with his Guests and making sure you're having a good time. Food is amazing, tasty, yummy!
My wife and I decided to try this after reading some reviews. It did not disappoint! Everything made to perfection. I have spent a great deal of time in Italy in the 14 years I have lived in Europe, this is probably in my top 3 of Italian places. Service is excellent as well.
The restaurant is nice with very good service. Looking at the menu we struggled to find something familiar. As the waiter came by he helped us with the selection and were we surprised with the food that came. It was very good and we enjoyed every moment.
After a week of traditional German food, this was a great family run business located near the Frankfurt airport location. Hard to find even for cab drivers but well worth effort.

Best Italian in the Frankfurt area, and by far. Try the very special "Taglioni mit Trüffeln" , you will not be disappointed. Hint : there is Gran Padano involved.
