We finally got a chance to have a dinner in this restaurant all our previous tries were denied by Sorry, we've no more free tables And we've understood, why. Instead of giving us a menu to pick up a dish, the owner of the...restaurant announced a menu that she'd lead us through. So it was kind of surprise What do we get next And it was amazing. Each and every dish was perfectly cooked and performed. Even though there was quite a lot of people in the restaurant, we didn't have to wait for our next course longer than it's supposed to be. I'm Italian but every time I'm in Erlangen I make sure to dine Da Pippo at least once.The atmosphere is elegant yet cosy and warm, the service is welcoming and friendly and Anna is an incredible restaurant manager.The 5 courses menu is simply delicious: excellent balance of flavours, perfectly assembled top quality ingredients, you can really taste the real Italian cuisine.The wine list is really interesting (have a look also at the selection of grappa) but if you want to indulge yourself with just a single glass, I would recommend the excellent "vino della casa".

my review is in fact on the same lines as funny, interesting concept, sitting without knowing what they get for eating. at euro, however, it was a bit expensive for what it was at the end. Although every dish was really nice and...right, nothing was excellent, and many would have eaten more. the location is super beautiful, quiet and stylish, personal is about beautiful, old-fashioned top level of the waitress. weinliste very decent as expected. for a unique experience it was worth me to return, not so sure.

after a wonderful day with my colleagues at university we were brought to a wonderful restaurant called ristorante da pippo (academic from holland, the usa and Great Britain). we were met with a warm reception by friendly staff who put us in a restaurant that is more like a home. the dame that owns/dispels this place has created a balance of the class in addition to a personal note. concerning eating, all the courses were faultless and the wee were delicious. a great experience. Usually you are assumed to go for the 5 course meal. Please do so - you will not regret it. May stay with "house wine" it is usually an excellent choice fitting the courses very well. Not only food but also atmosphere excellent. Meet "Anna" owner and cook.Enjoy first class waiting. Atmosphere excellent for a good and warm evening.

amazing service with high quality food make a great night out. we recommend for every special occasion, although booking is recommended before the doorstep. all the dings are freshly prepared and the meals are set up in front, depending on the season. they can adapt to vegetarian options/ lactose free...if necessary.

We didn't know what to expect with this restaurant, but we had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. There were a variety of courses, all delicious. And they catered for my food intolerances which is always appreciated. Would definitely recommend and will be going back

the best dinner I ever had! amazing, natural and unique taste! woouuw! ps- for those who think it costs too much. it is worth it! and. the price is normal. since it is a meelin recommended restaurant! I loved it! Hut...ab!
