I had my first experience at Daebak with friends, and we all had a great time. The servers were outstanding, providing helpful suggestions and assisting us with extras whenever we needed them. We ordered a mixed meat combo (beef, pork belly, and chicken) that we grilled at our table, and it was absolutely delicious. The side dishes, especially the kimchi and two others, were a highlight for me since I love vegetables. Although the portions for the side dishes were a bit on the small side, the servers were generous and quickly brought us more. Today, I ordered soy garlic wings and tteokbokki with cheese, specifically requesting no fish cakes, along with ramen. Usually, I have no issues when ordering here, but when I got home, I discovered that the very item I wanted to avoid—fish cakes—was in my bowl. I called the restaurant, and the same person who took my order answered. When I mentioned the problem, he responded, "I don't recall hearing you say that... I’m sorry," and then fell silent. There was no attempt at conflict resolution. I asked, "Can I at least get the dish remade?" He replied, "Uh, let me ask the kitchen." At that point, I could feel my frustration mounting, so I decided to end the call. I'm really disappointed.
This review focuses on their lunch menu. My family visited over the weekend and ordered nengmyun, mandoo, and seafood pajeon. Honestly, the premade nengmyun you can buy at the Korean grocery store is far better. The mandoo tasted spoiled, and we had to spit it out immediately. As for the seafood pajeon, it was quite strange—too thick and cakey. While the service could use some improvement, that wasn’t my biggest concern. We ended up paying $53 for truly disappointing Korean food. The BBQ might be good, but let’s be real; it’s hard to mess up cooking meat. Overall, this was some of the worst Korean food I’ve ever had.
The food itself was excellent. We ordered the combo for four people, even though there were just three of us (two males and one female), and it was a perfect amount. If you actually have four people, you might want to order something extra. The kimchi fried rice was the best we've tried in the area, and the BBQ along with the dipping sauces were all delicious. While some places do the BBQ for you, this restaurant takes a hands-off approach; however, they provide a buzzer and respond swiftly when you need assistance. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit! This restaurant is a popular choice for Korean BBQ, so it's a good idea to make a reservation if you plan to visit. The meat quality is excellent, and the portion sizes are generous. Service is quick; whenever you press the call button at your table, help arrives promptly. The combo options offer a nice variety of meats to choose from. The naengmyeon was decent, but I wouldn’t consider it a must-try; I’d suggest focusing more on their BBQ specialties. Overall, I had a fantastic experience here and definitely recommend it!

The meal was outstanding and certainly worth the price tag, which exceeded $100 per person. The flavors were rich, and the quality of the ingredients was evident with every bite. I highly recommend trying the Premium Galbi Combo for an exquisite dining experience that won't disappoint!
It was our first visit to this restaurant, and it did not let us down. The prices were very reasonable. We ordered the signature combo, which included two types of beef and two types of pork, and it was absolutely delicious. The banchan (side dishes) were excellent as well. Although our server seemed to be having a tough night, the other staff members really stepped up, and the food more than made up for it. I would definitely return!
Food was really good, service needs to be better than a call button. Server should be looking and checking table to see if anything is needed or taken away.
