Friday night, I walked into the local Daikokuya ramen shoppe and was immediately greeted and seated. I ordered the Chicken Karaage, Geso Age, and Spicy Miso Ramen. My partner has an egg allergy, so I asked them to remove the egg after the order was already taken. They immediately went to the kitchen and removed the egg before serving, which proves to show how much they care for their customers. There are three options for ramen and many other choices for rice dishes and starters. They offer "back fat" as an extra topping for their ramen, which is just fat added to the soup to make it richer, but I personally didn't notice much of a difference in taste. The prices are a bit high compared to other ramen shops, but the portion size was good for the price. There is limited parking available in the back, so it may be difficult to find a spot during peak hours. I would recommend trying this restaurant at least once if you have never experienced this chain before.

Had the Daikoku ramen combo with the fried rice. The ramen was good but next time I?ll add the kotterri flavor to make the broth richer. The noodles were cooked well and it came with a whole egg. The chashu pork had such a great flavor I should have gottenextra. I didn?t care for the salad. The fried rice was amazing, I?d go back just for that.
The food is ok, it seems they have changed the recipe from the in Little Tokyo. Your signature wheel seems to be missing. 3 stars for the rams, but 5 stars for the hot Asian guy who waited for us and the other employee who had so many wishes on the other table. I wish they brought back the old recipe.
that is a fantastic restaurant for ramen. I have the spicy Mistel-Ramen and small pig-snell-snell-combination $20.95 and it was delicious! the portions are great and filled me up. much less crowded than her little tokyo location. the staff is friendly and there are free parking on the back.
Food was delicious and the server was very attentive to my wife?s food allergies. Above and beyond our expectations with the taste and service. We?ll definitely be back. Also less crowded than the Monterey Park one. Thank you!
