I found a hair in my food at this restaurant, and the employee named Lucien Funk was unhelpful and did not wear a hair net. He refused to provide me with the manager's contact information or the corporate number. The service was unprofessional and lazy, with a 30-minute wait in the drive-through and having to go inside to make the employee work. I believe that Lucien should be terminated. I was eventually contacted by a shift leader after being hung up on by Lucien, who wrongly stated that West Virginia does not require safe food handling practices in a kitchen at all times, despite it being a state law. I received poor service multiple times at this restaurant, not just once or twice. On several occasions, I placed orders at the DQ in Terra Alta only to come home and find food missing or plastic in my ice cream from the machine. The staff at this store need to be more attentive and caring, instead of just standing around gossiping and not doing anything productive. If you are looking for better service, I recommend visiting the DQ in Oakland, Maryland. The Terra Alta location is in need of a remodel, as it looks run-down inside.

Please check your orders to make sure they're what you want my husband is allergic to tartar sauce he went in last week two fish sandwiches two orders of onion rings and was they were asked not to put tartar sauce on one which they said they would Mark when they didn't do that my husband ended up in the emergency room and I'm going to address this with Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We didn't have to wait long at all and our food was quickly prepared. The service was excellent and we ordered takeout for lunch. The prices were very reasonable, around $1-10 per person. I am frustrated with having to wait for 30 minutes in line when there is only one car ahead of me. The employees are just sitting inside and chatting. I am extremely disappointed in this Dairy Queen and do not intend to patronize them again.

The restaurant could use more staff as we had to wait 15 minutes for service. The meal was for takeout and cost between $1-10 per person. The food was rated a 3 out of 5, service a 1 out of 5, and atmosphere a 2 out of 5.

The prices are excellent and the food is delicious with a wide variety of choices. The Oakland location is convenient with the new road making it easy to access and leave the restaurant.
