I paid $7.50 for two soft serve cones, which is quite outrageous. Additionally, the girl who took my order mistakenly gave me a chocolate-dipped cone instead of a plain one. When I pointed it out, she simply said, "This is the regular one." I didn’t feel like arguing. If I want overpriced ice cream, I can always go to another local Dairy Queen. Here’s a tip: the Thorntons on Lake and Gary has a self-serve soft serve ice cream machine for just $1. It’s easy to use and there’s no attitude. You’re welcome!
Left without buying the 2 quarts of ice cream I was going to get. They wanted $9.00 for a quart. I told the clerk the cash register must have the wrong price. The one clerk called another DQ on Barrington Rd their price $4.99. The other clerk called the owner and he said the price was correct it's $9.00 a quart.. Quess I am not going to get the ice cream here. I?
As soon as I entered, I was hit with a smell reminiscent of a decaying animal. They really need to get rid of the trash can by the front door—it's absolutely necessary! Has anyone ever cleaned the wooden box surrounding that garbage can? Goodness! I hope I never have to endure that unpleasant odor again!
A nice local spot to grab a cold treat! The location is always clean and has some seating on the inside but most eat outside near there cars. Service is always great and people are friendly. You can go wrong with. DQ blizzard or soft serve cone!

I didnt catch her name but the girl working tonight (4/26/22, 7:30pm) was so nice and helpful and she honestly made my day so much better. I hope management here knows how great she is. Thanks again!
I ordered a banana split, but it was quite disappointing. The vanilla ice cream lacked flavor, the pineapples were stale, and the peanuts were not fresh either. Overall, I was really let down.
The location is clean and near to the neighborhood. The staff is amazing. They explain everything and answer all outlr questions. The great thing is they will custom make EGGLESS CAKE.
Love their ice cream cones dipped in chocolate and definitely their blizzards are to die for. The prices are getting very high. For an ice cream cone I paid almost $5.00.
