I will no longer be visiting the Dairy Queen in Bonne Terre after my experience there today. Normally, I order from the 2 for $5 menu at the drive-thru, and I did the same this time. However, when I checked my receipt, I realized I had been charged full price instead of the discounted rate. When I asked about it, a woman who introduced herself as the manager told me that I hadn't specifically requested the discount, so I wasn't eligible for it. According to her, that’s their policy. The fries were stale, the gravy had an odd consistency, they forgot the ketchup, and the ice cream was already half melted. Plus, they don’t accept DQ rewards. We'll be sticking to the Desoto location from now on.
