On Saturday night after 9 pm the wife decides she wants a tasty treat (Chocolate Malt) from DQ. Since the Pelham location was already closed this left the Alabaster location as the closest one that is open late until 11 pm. When we arrived the drive thru was wrapped around the building and the lobby was crowded. We decided to split up and see who would be able to order the shake first. I stayed in the drive thru and my wife went inside to order. It was no contest as she won easily. It is probably better to be go inside and order rather than sitting in a long line wasting gas which is rather expensive right now.
However, 20 minutes went by with no sign of the Blizzards, and I watched as other orders were prepared and handed out to customers who arrived after me. I finally asked how much longer it would be, and they said they'd take care of it right away. Ten minutes later, a different employee came out and told me to cancel the order, stating that it would take another 30 minutes.
In total, I wasted an hour of my time without any compensation due to their inefficiency. I wouldn't recommend ordering from here via DoorDash if you value timely service or if you want Dashers who are willing to deal with such delays.
I ordered a cake in gold and black decals. It looked awful. It was the most ugly cake I've ever seen. Looked like a toddler had decorated it .I was so disappointed but it was 30 min before the party so I didn't have time to wait for another. Very disappointed. So was my child . She also tried to charge me for an edible image. There wasn't an edible image. The cashier was even confused saying I'm not charging you for that. It doesn't have it. I opted out of the edible image fearful of quality.and now I'm glad I did.
They get overwhelmed easily. Blizzards are not blended as well as they should be although that is across the chain not just this location. Worst thing here was the young lady chomping bubble gum, including blowing bubbles while handing out food. I appreciated her attitude but the gum was gross.

We allowed my 11 year old son order via drive thru. Worker kept calling him ma 'am. THIS WAS NOT A PROBLEM. We thought it was quite funny. However when we pulled around to the window to joke with the worker, he replied I don 't care, I 'm just here. Ummm okay, unnecessary and rude response.
Great Dairy Queen that I visit often. Quality is always on point and both drive through and inside is fast and efficient. Staff can be a little inatentive when busy but otherwise great.
This is a convenient stop for travelers, with easy access and fast service. The meal was served hot and fresh, the bun was soft, and the blizzard was absolutely delicious!
Dairy Queen Grill Chill has delicious ice cream and sundaes. They have tables outside so you can seat outside.

Nice people and restaurant, had the fish sandwich. Lots of breading very little fish.
We dined in and the service was excellent! Such nice employees!
