Upon arrival, the staff at the reception were very helpful and efficient. We had made a reservation for 7:30 pm at the restaurant and arrived on time. However, we were made to wait for ten minutes before being shown to our table. The service was incredibly slow, and it took nearly an hour for our meal to arrive, despite being assured multiple times that it was on its way. Although the food was tasty, the portions were very small. The Waldorf salad was particularly disappointing, as it mainly consisted of chicory leaves with a tiny piece of blue cheese. Nevertheless, when we raised our concerns, they did deduct the cost of the salad from our bill.

Such a lovely hotel, filled with very friendly and accommodating staff. We received a very warm welcome at reception when we arrived, the girl behind the desk was lovely. Then we went for dinner and the staff in the restaurant were amazing, so helpful and made sure we have the best evening. 10/10 will definitely return to this hotel

The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. The food was delicious and we were very well taken care of by Chloé J. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be returning. The fillet steak was a fantastic choice and cooked to perfection. The duck was also delicious and they have a great selection of drinks.

I stayed on a Sunday night with the Lazy Sunday offer and had a fantastic experience. The room was very nice, dinner and breakfast were great, and the cocktails were lovely. I also enjoyed the late checkout on Monday. The service was attentive and friendly, with a special shoutout to Gavin, who was excellent.

Evening meal tonight in bar and grill : starter quality excellent but overpriced 18 for two scallops ! , fish and chips OK ie chips good but batter on fish too gloopy/soggy give 18 price expected better Desserts nice and reasonably priced. Staff excellent. Wouldn't go out my way to go back again

A quick stop off to recharge the car as we do regularly. The food as always was impeccable! This review is really to highlight the wonderful team that deal with reception through to the restaurant and bar area xx super friendly and helpful , Connor was especially attentive xx

Lovely atmosphere, beautiful decor, delicious food and friendly staff. We were served by Dana who couldn’t have been any nicer and more helpful. Would highly recommend and will be back.

Absolute perfection. Dana’s service was worthy of a Michelin restaurant and it was her first night. So impressed.
