The 'regulars ' did take a little time to warm up to strangers intruding into their 'safe-haven ' but after a round of shots and couple beers, we were just a couple of strangers that had the same end in sight, to drink as much as we can while last call quickly approached. I admit, I did avoid Dak 's only because it did seem like a territorial type bar, but today I feel much better for checking in and seeing what this locals pub had to offer."
