Daktari - Reservar una mesa

Small but fine is at least the motto of the location, which one cannot absolutely claim from the cocktails. But first to the outside: The store is so small, which often forms a snake around 19.00. Once you're inside, you might think you were landing in a mix of African style and toy store. This arrangement leads to discovering something new every time. So you go to a little safari. Now to the cocktails: delicious, fancy and with sweet decoration of small toy figures about jojos and and and.... I also feel positive that you can order vases there for several people.

In my opinion, the Daktari is the best cocktail bar in Essen (although the competition is not very large). The store is small, always full and quite dark in African design, so on its card you even have small lamps. From the 9 €-upward prices you should not let yourself be quenched, as the cocktails are really huge (and decorated great) so that best everyone orders something else to try a lot. You should either go early or late, then there are almost always no places.

Had an excellent evening. Drinks were great and the service was quick. Be there early as the seats by the window are the best!
