My grandaughter arranged a surprise 80th birthday for her grandad for 24 people 8 of which was kiddies under 8yrs of age- unfortunately the group that ordered their food first with a 1yr 2yr and 7yr old children had to wait last for their food they were tired and hungry- you did say the waitress had only been with you for 2weeks that was your excuse and she never should have had the responsibility for such a big order because the meals all came out reverse to what they were ordered very disappointed and one really upset grandaughter

Fantastic restaurant! The food is incredible and it's more affordable than the microwave meals at the Red Lion nearby, plus it’s much better quality. The staff are extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is delightful. I highly recommend the Sunday lunch—just be sure to set aside some time in the afternoon for a nice long nap afterward! Price per person: £20–30. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5. Recommended dish: Sunday Roast.

Lovely food. We were quietly having our meal, and then without warning about 10 people sat at 1 of the tables and the noise was excruciating. All the landlady said was they were having a get together. If thats the case they shouldnt have had any other people in. Because of this, even though the food was lovely i would never go there again. They need a bit more organisation

What a beautiful place to have a relaxing drink and meal. Lou and Iain are absolutely fantastic so welcoming and nothing is to much trouble. AMAZING!! The chef Dylan, where do I start the food is outstanding, some of the best food we have ever tasted. Tasty, delicious and portion size fantastic!! We will definitely be back. The food was excellent and the service and atmosphere was also excellent ended uo staying the entire night due to the fact they had a singer on Matt Carroll who was also brilliant we all had a great night very enjoyable. We Will definitely be going again 100% recommended Thank you Ian and Louise

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, accommodating my gluten-free needs very well. I rated the food a 4 because I wasn't able to get my top choice from the menu. Price per person: £30–40. Food: 4, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.
