A chill no frill BBQ joint where the food is delicious and the service is good.Very simple interiors, perfect for an after work gathering or time out with friends.Ordered the half baby back ribs rack with BBQ sauce along with fries and corn bread. And the brisket sandwich.The BBQ sauce is outstanding, the right blend of sweetness and spice. The ribs rack was pretty much grilled to perfection, the bones had gone tender.The drinks are nothing outstanding. The cocktails tend to be very much on the sugary side and the wines mostly come in small bottles.Overall a simple fun place to just take your time and enjoy BBQ food, the staff is no hurry to get you out.
I haven't been at bbqs for years. use them to meet a stack in days with friends before we target our night. everything was good, the guacamole and garnel were very fresh and delicious. the bratbeef was a tad dry, but the taste was delicious and the portion size was huge. saved and ate for lunch at work. my friend said that the hugging and waffel was good and they can't go wrong with the drinks (texas size). now they have a bigger size than Texas! we had a good time, service was friendly and will definitely return.
Functional. Nothing fancy, nothing special, nothing outstanding. Good to see they can still customize your order (I.e. no sauce on ribs/on the side). BBQ sauce: average. Cornbread: average. White meat chicken: dry as expected. Baby back ribs: okay (not fall off the bone though) Texas sized drinks: not a wow factor. Note: they add an automatic gratuity charge on your bill. Environment: grungy.
Great inexpensive spot without feeling cheap! This place has yummy food, nice staff, and an all around great experience. If I lived here, this would be a regular spot for me. Drinks are a little pricey but the food is so inexpensive for the portions you get. Highly recommend! I had the chili with Doritos and a Gin Martini that was incredible.

Honestly very good food. They are always busy and the service was nice! We ordered different drinks and they all were really tasty very good!! The food we got was sticky ribs wings. Mac n cheese brisket pork sandwich. All very good no one was disappointed

Called here for dinner before going to nearby Astor Place Theatre. Great value food. The portions are huge. I had the chicken and rib combo. Really good. Service friendly and attentive. Worth a visit if you are in the area
The beef rib was great. The steak looked boiled, was chewy, and extremely thin. Completely disappointed in the steak. The rest of the food was average as was the service. The location itself looked good.
