Unfortunately, after we sat down, we had to wait 35 minutes before someone took our order.When it was finally our turn to order, one of the dishes was not available. So my son ordered an alternative dish. However when he wanted to replace the dessert in his menu, he was told it wasn't possible. After 25 minutes at a terrace table, and noting several other tables also looking more and more disgruntled, we finally caught the eye of one of the servers, who proceeded to shout from the doorway "it's my boss." At our confused expressions, she went on to explain that her boss - a man who had already studiously ignored us several times - mandated that he and only he would take food orders. We laughed a bit incredulously, so she added, without humor or irony, that this was how they kept the food wait times down, by not taking orders (or offering anything in the meantime) until they felt like it. Came her 2 years ago and returned for the Piglet dish. We did reserve days before so were sat very quickly. It was clear the young lady was the only waitress for upstairs and downstairs, (luckily it was cold outside so this was closed). Given menu's, took order after 30 mins. No piglet so had dry cassoulet. Felt sorry for waitress as boss (as he spent all time at bar sorting drinks or talking to mates outside). Yes this is based on a personal experience but I would recommend the waitress who did a great job regardless to move on.
Bien mais pas top. Personnel très sympa, souriant et agréable.Foie gras mi cuit maison plutôt bon, mais pas forcément bien déveiné (pour ceux qui liront et qui vont se dire, ... on dit denervé, eh bien non, ce sont des veines et pas des nerfs). Bref, au global, c'est plutôt bon et dans la fourchette haute, surtout quand on voit le nombre de restaurants attrape touristes dans cette jolie cité.Un peu déçu sur la restauration rencontrée aujourd'hui dans la cité de Carcassonne mais en même temps, vu le nombre de visiteurs.

Had dinner there this week. Outside as the weather was lovely. Just next to the main square where restaurants line up the same menus all over. Only annoyance : a bit of traffic nearby. Good salds : chèvre on toast with duck smoked magret, tomato-mozarella. Main courses a bit disappointing : two lams chops (rack of lamb?) and somewhat burnt smell confit leg of duck...good potatoes! Nice ratatouille. Pleasant Corbières rosé.
Si no hubieran socarrado el Cassolulet en los bordes. Nos recomendaron el establecimiento en el hotel. Elegimos un menu de 16 euros y pico que está bastante bien, buena ensalada y buen pate de campaña. EL postre, una crema quemada muy similar a la crema catalana, excelente. Pero el plato principal, el tan famoso cassoulet, se les socarro en los bordes, lo hornearon demasiado, y ya no nos supo bueno.

Comimos de menú. Probamos la casuolet, deliciosa. Paté y ensalada de pato además de las costillas (muy recomendables). De postre tomamos la degustación de quesos y creme brulé. Todos los platos nos encantaron, cuidados y abundante. Un buen lugar para probar los platos típicos de la zona.

On a déjeuné avec les enfants en bas âge , les serveurs adorables ! Menu à 16€ déjà bien mais menu à 20€ un délice avec des plats encore plus gourmands! Un très bon rapport qualité prix !
Had a salad for starter which was fantastic and well presented. Lamb shanks for mains, again brilliant and tender with plenty of meat on the bone. Would highly recommend.
