I recently dined at Dandan Wayne and had a mostly positive experience. The food was generally good, with a variety of dishes showcasing the flavors of Szechuan cuisine. However, a few of the dishes were heavily soaked in hot chili oil, which made them too spicy and overwhelmed the natural flavors. I have eaten at Dan Dan several times and have never been disappointed. A reservation is highly recommended. Dining inside can be a little crowded and busy. During the nicer months the trick is to dine on their outside deck. Despite being nearish to the street it is private and quiet due to the privacy wall and planters. The Saturday night we were last there the deck was mostly empty despite lovely 80 degree weather. The menu is large and filled with authentic Chinese dishes. If you only want general Tso’s or kung po you may be disappointed. The level of spice is clearly indicated. The Dan Dan noodle with pork appetizer is to die for. Service is efficient and attentive

Wow, this is some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. I was with a group so we started with pork buns, wontons and chicken potstickers. Everything was amazing but the pork buns really stood out. For entrees, we got the kung pao chicken which was great, but the honey pine nut shrimp was ONE OF THE BEST THINGS I’VE EVER EATEN! Can’t wait to come back and get this dish again. I recently tried the green peppercorn hot sauce chicken dish and was disappointed. It was drenched in chili oil, making it greasy and unappetizing. The excessive oil completely overpowered the flavors of the dish. I wouldn’t recommend this dish unless they reduce the amount of chili oil.

Very good food. I praise how fast the food comes out. This is a perfect spot for lunch while you’re at work and they will have you seated/fed/and out in about 35 mins. It’s also a good spot to chill too or for a nice dinner.
