Despite the ongoing renovation for a new music system, the service was excellent, and I enjoyed a great pint of real ale. The first pint poured wasn't quite right, but instead of serving it, the bartender properly discarded it and poured a fresh one. I stumbled upon this small yet charming pub thanks to an old sign along the canal walk. It's unfortunate that they don't serve food until Wednesday, but I would definitely return! This restaurant offers an excellent dining experience. Priced between £20 and £30 per person, the food is outstanding, earning a perfect score of 5. The service is equally impressive, also rated 5 out of 5. The atmosphere is delightful, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. I highly recommend trying the Bacon Cheeseburger with Home Fries, along with a Stella Artois.
