Everything about Dandy Lane was delightful. You felt welcome as soon as you stepped in door and the attentive, friendly service doesn't stop there. Their menu was a blend of favourites with a Dandy Lane touch and interesting new dishes. I can confidently say that the Herb Permesan Rosti is amazing! Their coffee is easily among the best in Hobart and was thoroughly enjoyed by the both of us. The thought and care that has went into every aspect of their cafe is perfectly balanced and lends itself to a wonderful experience. Highly, highly recommend that you drop into Dandy Lane.
Lovely little place. Coffee and juices were great. We went as a group of 9. The food did take a little while to come out but understandable with a small kitchen and a full house juggling everyone else and our group as well. Food was delicious. Tasty and big serves. Happy, patient and friendly staff made for a relaxed Saturday brunch.
Treated myself to Saturday morning breakfast. I got the Zucchini, Mint and Fetta Fritters with a chai late. Service was outstanding and the food was delicious! I grabbed myself a raspberry white chocolate and chai muffin to go, and that was mouthwatering! Can't wait to go back to try the rest of the menu!
Finally a day off so we decided to support a fellow new cafe operator after all the great reviews we've seen. Lovely coffee to start (with cool latte art). I had the beef brisket with poached eggs and hubby had the soft shell crab burger. Both great dishes. Thank you.

We loved everything about our visit. The food was exceptional and the staff were so lovely!! We'll definitely be back to try other tasty morsels from the menu!! Thank you for such a pleasurable experience.
Absolutely superb food (the pulled lamb burger is amazing), and the chai latte had a lovely level of spice (and wasn't sickly sweet like some places). We will definitely be visiting regularly!
Best new cafe in Hobart! I can't recommend Dandy Lane highly enough. Amazing coffee, attentive friendly staff and quick service...oh and the food is to die for! Can't wait to go back :
The best bacon Benny I have had in Hobart to date. Would recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced and great tasting meal. Well done Dandy Lane!
