Dantes And Pizzeria

I moved to Philadelphia a few months ago. My boyfriend and I tried a LOT of pizza places. NONE of them compared to Charlie's. Seriously. Either their sauce was too garlicky, too sweet, there was hardly any sauce, the cheese wasn't right.. Charlie's has been making the tastiest pizza since I was a kid. My family always stopped by here whenever we were in the area. Now I am only here sometimes to do laundry, but my mom got a slice when we were there the other day and I had a bite and it was just like I remembered! A+ MY FAVORITE PIZZA IN THE UNITED STATES.

My husband is a big fan of this restaurant! Whenever we visit Norristown, he always insists on going to Charlie's. He swears by their red top pepperoni pizza. When I arrived, they were in the process of making the pizza, so I had to wait a few minutes for them to finish. They were preparing cheese pizza, but I wanted pepperoni. The chef took the pie out of the oven, added the pepperoni, and put it back in to finish cooking. My husband was thrilled!

This is the best pizza I've had in the area, even better than what you find in Philadelphia. The homemade bread has that perfect chewy, crunchy texture that I love in a great pizza. The ratio of sauce, cheese, and toppings is just right. The staff at the front desk where you place your order are very friendly too. I really wish I could find pizza like this in Upper Darby.

We drive from NE Philadelphia to eat their Pizza. We used to work near during the summer months in the 80's and 90's. My children now grown, still remember. Every now and then we drive up from Philly for a family outing. Worth the drive. Great atmosphere , cold beer and AWESOME PIZZA!! Reserva una mesa ahora

I was initially unsure whether to give this place four or five stars, but then I had another slice and that settled it! Their red top pizza is fantastic. I can’t quite put into words what makes it so special, but it’s simply magical...

Appears to be PERMENANTLY closed due to passing of its owner, Johnny. Signage gone, phone disconnected re-opening just a hopeful dream for that ORIGINAL red top pizza for about 60 years that generations have enjoyed and supported !!!

WOW! It was my first time ordering from Charlie's. Their red top pie is absolutely amazing! The sauce and cheese both have great flavor. Will definitely order from them again in the future. This is going to be my new go to place!

I traveled 40 minutes from Pottstown to Charlie's Pizza for this amazing pie, passing by at least 10 other pizza shops along the way. It was definitely worth it!
