Dante's Pizza Saugerties

Don't even deserve 1 star...Worst customer experience ever.Placed an order at 5:50. Said 20 minutes.Went there at 6:30. Owner checks ou a couple ahead of me.Walk up to the counter with eye to eye contact with him....I'm the only one in line... he turns around and walks away from me.Waitress comes out of the office stuffing her face and looks at me...Walks away. She passes me 5 times and not a word.Stand there for 15 minutes before I'm asked my order.Tell the person what horrible service...Owner comes out...We have words.Tell him how he just walked away as did everyone else and I was the only customer standing at the counter.He gets hot headed how busy they are.Told him I was td 20 minutes an...

Went in and walked right back out. As I got to the counter to order a pizza to go the bald guy making pizza was being very rude to the girl at the register, something about the pizza sizes. I asked for a menu, as I had never been there before and was told that they don’t have menus. (Prices had gone up and they had pulled all the current menus)Then the same guy told me that the kitchen was closed and I’d have to get something that was pre made and out on display. This was at about 6pm and their hours say open till 8. I just said I was ok and left. Hope others have a better experience! They way he was talking to the girl at the register was just awful.

OMG a very good friend told us about this place and had to go. DELICIOUS we tried a lot of different dishes he had in his show case of food. Where can I start the woman who works there was a joy to talk with she came out of retirement to help a good friend with his pizza restraunt establishment. After his help had quit. You will not be disappointed Please go and eat for yourself. This place is so clean and with good food it's a win win for the customers. From the shrimp kabobs to the rice balls all delicious. Chicken parm. Califlower. and taco pizza so many choices had to try as many as I could in one day. LOL

I was blown away by the service and pizza! The gentleman behind the counter not only made us incredible pizzas but then carried the stack of them out to our car after a long hard day he was awesome. The pizza was fantastic and the prices were great! Will definitely be returning next year when we return for our yearly work trip. 5 stars for service and food. Also for anyone showing at hits these guys will deliver to the barns.

So to really judge a place I feel you start with a regular cheese slice. Unfortunately Dante's has no flavor. Boring bland slice I couldn't finish. My 2nd slice was more delightful. A meatball, sausage, bacon (Meat Lovers). It appears to me that Dantes relies on toppings for taste. A large portion of their display was specialty pies. It's a nice clean place inside and they have tons of seating. Seems ok
