When we got to the counter, we were handed the menu. For our appetizer, we ordered Pempek, an Indonesian fish cake served with a delicious sweet tamarind sauce. This dish was fantastic, with the sauce really enhancing the flavor of the fish cake, which also had an egg inside. For our main courses, we chose Ayam Bakar Komplit, which consisted of grilled chicken, tempeh, tofu, rice, and sambal. The sambal was incredibly spicy, and when paired with the grilled chicken, it created a taste sensation that felt like spice heaven.
