Rara vez escribo malas críticas, pero me sentí obligado a hacerlo después de mi experiencia en este café ayer. Actualmente estoy muy embarazada y mi esposo y yo nos encontramos con un amigo que no habíamos visto en esta cafetería durante años. Durante nuestro tiempo aquí compramos dos juegos de bebidas y algunos pasteles. Mientras estábamos allí, el personal nos pidió que nos moviéramos a una mesa más pequeña, ya que un grupo más grande estaba llegando, esto no fue un problema, ya que estábamos en una mesa más grande porque era todo lo que estaba disponible cuando llegamos. No mucho después de esto, TRES miembros del personal nos preguntaron abruptamente en sucesión rápida si podíamos irnos...
Visited the cafe and ordered a bacon and egg baguette with a coffee. Now I know some people will think I 'm being picky here but, I do wish ALL cafes and delis and restaurants would advertise that they only use smoked bacon on the menu. And I should have learned by now to ask, but sometimes you 're in a hurry or you just forget to ask. I really dislike smoked bacon and would appreciate this being pointed out on the menu or at least members of staff informing customers that they only use smoked bacon (as most pubs inform people of certain makes of drinks they supply). And I wasn 't happy with the response I recieved after posting my first review.
Combe Downers es tan afortunado de tener a esta gran Deli en nuestras puertas. He comido y quitado comida de aquí en muchas ocasiones desde que se abrió hace casi 20 años. La comida es deliciosa y saludable y siempre he encontrado al personal amable y servicial. El único comentario crítico que hice hace algunos años fue cuando una vez la ensalada de col rizada tenía trozos duros y masticables. Pero esta es una joya preciosa de un lugar que somos muy afortunados de tener en nuestra comunidad.
If you are seeking a nutritious breakfast or lunch, this restaurant is the ideal choice. The selection of fresh and healthy salads is impressive, as well as the breakfast options. I highly recommend the avocado, bacon, and poached eggs, and if you're craving something indulgent, the gluten-free millionaire's shortbread is incredible.

We called in for cofffe and ended up leaving with double delicious food, we ordered the hot wraps I had a super food hot wrap that was faultless and my good friend had the onion and something else I can’t remeber the name but it looked really good and he said it was I can’t recomend them enough with value for money to boot
Really enjoyed my recent visit to the Deli. It has been a while since my last visit and the menu ranged as really improved under the new owner. We went to get the usual baguette but found a whole new and exciting menu of various salads and delicious dishes.
We had a pleasant lunch at this restaurant. The warm ciabattas were priced at around £6 to £7 each for dining in. The salads also looked appealing. Additionally, there is free 2-hour parking available outside.
Darling Deli is simply delicious! This charming little deli serves mouthwatering food, and the gentleman who served us was both charming and handsome. I can't wait to go back!
