Darrow's New Orleans Grill

The food at this restaurant is excellent, served piping hot! I chose the catfish dinner and had the option of fried or grilled. I went with fried and it was delicious. The meal comes with 2 sides and lots of options to choose from. I picked the salad and white rice, along with some cornbread which was amazing! The catfish pieces were a good size and they give you plenty. They also serve homemade peach cobbler for dessert which was heavenly. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They have a new sauce called Alligator Sweat, which I highly recommend trying. Overall, I had a great experience at Darrow's and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

The service was a bit slow due to the busy Saturday late lunch crowd, with 2 birthday parties and a couple of customers with questions. It's best to secure a table as soon as you arrive if dining inside, then join the line to place your order. The food came out quickly once ordered, and you could see it being prepared. The ambiance was lively with a New Orleans themed mural, humorous signs, and chalkboards. There were various table options and bar seating. Parking was plentiful on the street or in the connected garage. Overall, I recommend trying Darrow's - I think you'll enjoy it.

I recently had lunch at this restaurant and I would highly recommend it. The food was amazing, with dishes like Red Beans Rice, beignets, Shrimp PO'Boy, Shrimp and Oyster PO Boy, Catfish and Shrimp Dinner, and Catfish Dinner standing out. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. There is plenty of parking available, including free parking in a nearby garage. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!

I didn't have to go anywhere else to give this place a 5-star review! As tourists, we felt very welcome. We feel like part of the family now! The po boys were one of the best we've ever had! The food and drinks are great and so is the service. The owner is very welcoming. He greets you at the door and takes time to explain the menu. i used to go when he was in marina del rey and after 10 years glad to find him again, if you miss New orleans food in LA i will definitely recommend, Darrow also is quite attentive to customers and staff is friendly so you will feel right at home Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This restaurant in Southern California serves the best Southern Food. Our visit was outstanding from start to finish and I can't wait to go back and try their delicious Gumbo, Red Beans and Rice, Shrimp, and Peach Cobbler. They have it all!
