Darwisch - Reserva de mesa

We stopped at Darwisch for dinner after coming into town on a group tour. It was within walking distance of our hotel and the center of town. We’d never eaten Persian food before, and everything was incredibly delicious. I don’t know what marinade was put...on the chicken, but it was tender and savory. Every dish was excellent. Fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The staff weren’t English speakers, but we were able to do fine pointing at the menu. (They did have English menus The only downside was that the staff didn’t let us know their credit card machine was broken until after we were presented with the bill. A short walk from Bismarck Plaza this is an excellent find and a refreshing change from the local cuisine. For a hot summer evening the food was excellent and all the tastes slightly unusual but not pretentious. Great starting with complementary crisp plate of...cheese and herbs. The service was good too helpful and by someone who clearly cares abt the food. This is a place that is worth going out of your way to.

This is definitely one of the best authentic Persian restaurants in Germany. The appetizers are simply amazing, the main dishes, we had a mixed meat platter for persons and a chicken dish, are excellent. Farshad, the waiter, was extremely helpful and attentive, very good...indeed

We loved this restaurant. Not only was the food delicious, but the lovely couple running the place were friendly and welcoming. We were there with children and they enjoyed the food, also.

Nice restaurant, well located. Excellent service. Price and performance ratio of meat dishes not entirely in relation to quantity and price. Drinks quite expensive. Still worth a visit.
