I love the location, the food is okay, and the service is good. The thing that shines about this spot is it's history and it's location. It's an old slaughterhouse, the building has so much character and there is a lot going on in the area, it's close to the train station, lots of art, a music venue, food carts etc. The food isn't bad by any means, but I can't say it's anything special either. It is perfectly okay. I will return again and again because it's a really nice spot to have a beer with friends
I came here because atmosphere was cool, reviews were positive and pictures of food looked good, plus they have Margherita pizza. They did not let me down, waitress came and greeted me immediately I ordered quickly and shortly after she brought me my drink, not the usual service I received. I am highly impressed and satisfied with this pick. Plus I was sold on the wonderful smell of food that greeted me at the door as approaching the restraunt.
the standard place for us if we want to have drinks and snacks in a cool atmosphere, as a group or as couple. has a beautiful industrial charm. the service is sometimes a little slow, but I don't care, because they are always very nice. pizza and burgers are great, the rest of the food is met or miss.
This is a great place to get something too eat or drink. The prices are really good. The bathrooms are also clean. The handicap bathroom is located outside. I tried the Chef burger and it came with homemade fries. If there is an event at the Schlachthof it can get busy. So I do suggest reservations.
