Das Porto - Reserva de mesa

I visited this beautifully decorated café today based on good reviews and wasn't disappointed. I was greeted by Suzana and Gabrielle and they were so warm and friendly and I spoke to them for a good while (until my food got cold) and they kindly heated it again. Everything is really fresh (despite what the one negative review says, not sure if they went to the wrong place...) and all homemade. How do I know? They were bringing the shopping in when I arrived and it went direct from bag to plate, freshly prepared by Suzana in front of my eyes. Mein Panino wurde vor meinen Augen frisch zubereitet und war sehr lecker, ebenfalls mein grüner Smoothie mit Spinat & Co. Für mich ist "Das Porto" ein echter Geheimtipp (man findet es auch nicht so leicht) und wird nun bei Gandria-Besuchen fest eingeplant. Die Preise sind leider sehr dicht an der Schmerzgrenze - schweizer Preise eben, d.h. für den ziemlich kompletten Rest der Welt relativ hoch. In Deutschland könnte man diese Preise maximal mit der Bezeichnung "bio" rechtfertigen ... eigentlich schade, dass "Das Porto" nicht auch komplett Bio-Produkte verwendet. Une bonne alternative quand on n’a pas le temps de s’arreter dans un des rares restaurants de l’endroit. Joli décor, une restauratrice qui a l’air d’être passionnée et empressée.MAIS les produits ne sont pas frais, quel dommage ! Mayonnaise et sauce tartare en pots, salade sous vide, galettes sous vide, etc…ET le (gentil) serveur à la caisse et aux jus pressés est d’une lenteur ! Quand en plus il se permet de taper ses sms alors que les nombreux clients attendent de payer en lui tendant la carte ou le billet, on frise l’inefficacité totale.

Quand on visite Gandria, souvent entre deux horaires de bateaux, il est intéressant de pouvoir manger un morceau rapidement sans toutefois renoncer à la qualité...Au milieu des restaurants traditionnels, le concept de Das Porto est donc très pertinent : smoothies, panini, jus de fruits frais... Top !!Manque pour avoir 5 étoiles, le sourire de la serveuse !!! Dommage que pour un concept aussi rafraîchissant, l'accueil soit aussi froid voire glacial... Reserva una mesa ahora

Un posto magico, fermarsi a das Porto è praticamente d'obbligo se si passa da Gandria, per la bellezza del posto, per la bontà delle smoothie e dei panini e per la gentilezza della proprietaria... prodotti super freschi, un ambiente ed un'accoglienza unica.

Took the ferry from Lugano to Gandria and stumbled upon this gem. Grab a freshly prepared sandwich and a cold drink, then find a beautiful vista and you have yourself a picnic. You won't have to venture far to find a perfect spot.

Ci sono stato l'estate scorsa con la famiglia, locale con cibo d'asporto, una ottima alternativa ai soliti ristoranti, tutto veramente di alto livello, materie prime di ottima qualità, molto consigliato.
