who comes here does this perhaps because of the friendly staff, the sweet little local or the cozy urban sitting place in the yard...but definitiw to drink a serpentine. What's in it? what you got from it, maybe headaches the next morning, but you can get them somewhere else. the price alcohol ratio is excellent. even the doorstep friendly and meet you there everyone.Welcome/can you continue after that you are already directly in winterthur.

This tiny bar is a real gem. Before going somewhere else, you go first to this bar, which is the oldest bar in Winterthur, and drink the popular now called “Serpentine” aka “Rasputin”, which was the former name of this great and in different colours and tastes drink with Prosecco. You can drink it there inside or outside in summertime, or you can order to go as well. Fantastic little bar! Worth a visit!

Closed on Sundays and Monday During the week quite a good place. Fridays and Saturdays are super crowded. Drinks are reasonable. Serpentine is a special (I think Prosecco based) house drink and has different variations in taste. Food can be ordered. Skills of Staff are mixed, some are there ever since, some are doing this beside of studies.

a visit is worth the narrow towel definitiw! service was very friendly and price/performance is also true. One of the most fancy bars in Winterthur. If you visit Das Schmale Handtuch you need to try the original (white Serpetins. It's a special drink based on champagne. (18 CHF . After one drink you have a perfect level, after two you will be wasted ;

I love this bar. here we have spent countless fun evenings. very cozy in summer when you can sit out with a serpentine. of course also very recommended in winter.
