Clear recommendation for wine tasting for all Before my visit I was somewhat skeptical due to the few negative comments (unfriendly, high prices), then I decided to visit. The right decision! We were very kindly received. At the beginning we were brought closer to the history of the association, to the background of the cooperatives in Ahrweiler and to the production process of red and white wine. The wine cellar was then shown to us in which information about the wooden barrels and provisions on barrique were obtained. There was a private tour where you could take pictures of the wine cellar and the wooden barrels. After the wine cellar we were led into a beautifully designed room for tasting the following four wines. The tasting took place in each case 0.1l from: Feinherber Weißwein (Ahr Riesling) Trockener Rosé (Blanc de Noir) Trockener Rotwein (Spätburgunder von Holzfass) Halbtrockener Rotwein (Frühburgunder) There were salt masses and water. There was no demand at any time to buy wines. On the contrary: After the four tasting wines, each of the 15 guests present was offered to taste every wine of the existing sales card. Also the following three wines were presented to us: Dry red wine (friedburgunder) Dry red wine (Portugieser) Dry white wine (Riesling) We were all satisfied and I can only recommend the wine tasting for everyone! After that we had the opportunity to buy the most delicious wines for us. Thank you.

We were there for wine tasting and got many interesting details with joke before the actual wine tasting. There it was just as it had begun. A good choice of wine to buy without pressure. There was an answer to all questions. The prices are fairly fair and you support local winemakers. It's worth a visit.

We went there at noon, you can choose for small nice dishes or delicious cakes. Decoration of the place is a must see
