Due to COVID restrictions and it being a weekday during lunchtime, my party decided to order online from Dave's Cosmic Subs. This turned out to be a wise decision as the restaurant was busy and we had to wait for about five minutes before our order was ready for pickup. Once we got home and tried the food, my high expectations were exceeded. I opted for the Dave's Veg-Out sandwich, which I customized by requesting no cheese and having it oven-baked. because of the covid and it is a weekday to midday, we decided to order online what was a good choice. it was packed when we arrived and had to wait about five minutes until our order was finished. when we brought it home, my high expectations were surpassed. I ordered the dave’s veg-out and pull out. I added an inquiry to remove the cheese and bake it. the true star of the show was the artichoke hearts, something I had not expected to taste so good. the subtotal was delicious. for the city mount vernon it can be hard to find plant-based options, but I recommend you to look at dave’s cosmic subs. P.S the dave’s cosmic sauce on each sub is vegan, tasty and for sale in the restaurant.

This is my favorite place in Mt. Vernon. Paul, Marissa, Blake and Chris are fantastic, friendly and warm. I stop here every time I’m in Mt. Vernon and it’s always great. Today, they recommended the special, The Hippie Chicken, and it was, without any hyperbole whatsoever, the best sandwich I’ve ever had. Five stars, highly recommend! Service: Dine in

This restaurant serves the best subs around, possibly in the state. The service is excellent and ideal for a lunch outing. The price per person is very affordable, ranging from $1-10.
