we have been sitting late afternoon after we were close to a late night arrival at the airport. the place is really cool, and the young were with our children regarding what on the sandwiches. No, it's not a separate style sub-shop, but they know children can be picky, so they're a few dings away for us to make everyone happy. (Note: I say this as warning to elders when their children are especially overcrowded, they know that the cheese is shredded here on cold backgrounds. it is delicious, but we all know that children sometimes reject everything they do not expect. only one head up when they have a six-year-old like mine anyway, the sandwiches were made fresh and very fast. the chip selec...
I have NO idea how this place has the reviews they do, it was AWFUL! We paid $52 for 3 sandwiches, the bag was so light, I thought for sure they missed at least one of them. These sandwiches are TINY, and every single one of them (even the meatball subs) has this weird oil on it. I had to search for the meat on mine. The bread is super crusty, but not in a good way, more of a messy, stale and way. To add to the messiness, they use shredded cheeses…that was fun. These were probably the worst sandwiches we ever had, and most expensive. I had better sandwiches from gas stations at 1/4 the price. We were all still so hungry, we stopped to McDonald’s after choking them down.
The atmosphere was great but i paid almost 30$ for 2 sandwiches that were about 8 inches. The subs were poorly constructed and each bite was one ingredient (not the way a sandwich should be) and the “cosmic sauce” was over powering. Not worth the money at all. I have heard such great things about this place but I couldn’t believe how overpriced and mediocre it was. The bread was so crunchy/over baked that it hurt my mouth. Hopefully this was just an off day for them but I was so disappointed especially for 15$ a sub.
seriously rough! the grateful dave. had, tomaten (there was no tomaten,) red wobbles (there was no red wobbles,) alfalfa sprouts (there was no sprosen) and avocado (the avocado was black and old and rotten and disgusting see photo.) there is literally a food store over the street from the sandwich shop. you would assume that if supply chains interrupting problems key components such as tomaten and avocado, they could simply get over the road. Yummy for Less Money for My Honey.Did you hear the one about the husband who asked his wife for dinner from a place that has great sub and fries. He put on an impish smile and danced a way. Surprise! The wife found a great place called Dave's Cosmic Subs. Not only did they have EVERYTHING, it was a reasonable price. The loving husband just smiled and said Well Done. Thank you Dave's Cosmic Sub for a win, win, win!
Holy schnikey's this place is good! I had the original Dave's Cosmic and it was on point! The food was beyond phenomenal, the atmosphere was incredible, and the staff was the best! They visit with every customer coming in like they're long lost friends. When I travel back to Vermont, this will definitely be on my to do list again! 100% Texan approved here! ?
10 bucks for a sub with 3 peacese of meat on hard bread? A full sub thats maybe 7 inches long? What's the catch, hardly anything on it and just small. I get a nice sandwich at subway. Not sure what all the hype is but I tried it and this place is the worst sandwich I've ever had. Seriously disappointed.
