I walked in feeling a bit wary, especially since I've been let down by other popular places like Raising Cane's, but I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was juicy and tender, the seasoning had a great flavor that wasn't just about the heat, and the breading was light and crispy. I ordered the #3 Combo, which came with a sandwich and a tender, both at the Hot spice level. It was perfect for me, but if you like a spicier kick, I recommend trying a level above Hot. I also added extra slaw, but it was a bit tasteless, so I might skip that next time.Overall, everything else was fantastic, and I would definitely come back.
Feeling adventurous, my girlfriend and I recently tried another chicken restaurant in Culver City, but we left feeling quite let down. It was so disappointing that we decided to go to Dave's the very next day for their delicious, juicy, crispy, heavenly tenders. The tenders at Dave's are incredibly light and crispy (also generously sized), reminiscent of dreamy fish and chips but packed with so much more flavor. Can you tell I'm in love? If you can, I highly recommend dining in to enjoy your chicken hot and fresh. I prefer mine mild, and the lightly tangy pickles are the perfect complement. Don’t overlook the pickles!
I recently dined at the restaurant and had a rather disappointing experience with my server. I specifically requested a side of mac and cheese, but it was overlooked, even though the server acknowledged my request. To make matters worse, when I tried to refill my soft drink, the machine wasn’t dispensing ice, leaving me with a warm Coke. Furthermore, the extra sauces I requested for my takeout were missing from the bag. Overall, it felt like I was being ignored during my visit. I just hope David Y isn’t working when you decide to go to Dave's.
I chose to dine at this restaurant because of its outstanding ratings, and it did not disappoint—it was truly delicious! The flavors were remarkable; I ordered one mild dish and one regular dish, and even the mild option had a nice hint of spice. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, and it was quite satisfying. While there are no indoor tables due to COVID restrictions, the outdoor seating is covered, providing a comfortable dining experience. I would definitely recommend this place for a quick meal.

During our trip to LA, we found ourselves coming back to this restaurant three times because the food is simply fantastic! The menu is relatively limited, making it easy to choose what to order. You also have the option to adjust the heat level and toppings, which is great for sharing a combo with someone. Don't be fooled—the “sliders” are actually full-sized sandwiches! And I have to say, the kale slaw is absolutely incredible!
I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. If you enjoy exceptionally spicy food, I highly recommend trying one of the Reaper dishes along with an extra hot option. The fries were incredibly tasty and bursting with flavor. The only drawback was the slider, which included a chicken tender on a bun; I would have preferred a chicken breast instead. However, the tender was quite large.
I’m a huge fan of the chicken tenders at this place. They offer a range of spice levels, from mild to extremely hot. It's a bit unique, but they serve the tenders with two slices of white bread and a few pickle slices on the side. The chicken is super juicy, and the coating is perfectly crispy. They also have sliders on the menu, and I've seen a lot of people ordering those too.

I'm giving this restaurant one star because they continue to serve Coke products despite the ongoing boycott. It makes me wonder why some people expect others to make changes for us when we aren't willing to make changes ourselves.
I really love this place and their Halal Chicken! Eating here is always a delightful experience for me.
