Decent Italian place in Evanston. I only had a chance to try their pasta, and specifically the chicken parmesan and 'make your own pasta. ' The chicken in the chicken parmesan was definitely crispy and would be loved by people who 'd prefer that over a softer type of chicken parmesan. The meatball added in the other pasta felt a bit bland, but it may go well with the marinara sauce more. Overall, the pasta portions was quite big and will make at least two meals for me!
Dave's new kitchen is a charming little spot that serves delicious food! The server was incredibly friendly and attentive. I took his suggestion and ordered the Ravioli with Rose Sauce, and it was absolutely amazing! This sauce goes perfectly with anything you want to eat. The bread was fresh, and the wine selection was nice, too. The food came out promptly! Just a heads-up: this cozy restaurant, located close to campus, can get crowded during peak hours.
The food and service were amazing! Our group, all vegetarians, sampled the garlic bread, pasta, lasagna, pizza, and desserts. Everything was delicious. We particularly loved the pasta with jalapeño, served with a mix of marinara and Alfredo sauce. It was rich and absolutely delightful! We can't wait to return.
Dave's Italian Cuisine is alive and well! This new location is smaller and cozier, but the calzones are still fantastic. For just $12, you get a generous serving that's almost large enough to share between two people. I do wish they had a wider variety of fillings, though. Reserva una mesa ahora
I got takeout..firecracker chicken. It was delicious. The only dilemma was that the credit card machine was down. Thank goodness I had enough cash. Not that they could help it on the cc reader...so all's well that ends well. If you love spicy...grab that chicken.
Classic, delicious Italian food...Evanston's Little Italy. Clean, warm seating area with window to the kitchen. The food is fantastic and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Absolutely worth going for a meal or picking up for Italian dinner at home.
Amazing! I'm so happy to see the Spinach ricotta cheese pie with mushroom lemon butter sauce still on the menu and one of my favorites The creamy garlic salad dressing is the best I've ever had
