Friendly and welcoming staff. Quickly served. Very generous portions. Great value. BBQ, as most food, is subjective. Seems that plenty of people liked the food. For me, it was a bit dry and had to rely on the sauce a bit much for my taste. The burnt ends aren’t what I would classify as burnt ends as they are literally the end cuts but not cubed and sauced. I would, without question, visit again and try something different as the length of time they’ve been in business and their loyal following are for a reason. The sausage was excellent. I have been eating at Davids, since I was a kid. Many generations of my family have eaten here. The food is always amazing! The decor is the same and I love that they have not changed it. Jimmy is the MAN! Love this place old school bbq nothing fancy but great. I order brisket with lots of bark, sausage, fried okra and potato salad. Throw some pickles, onions and jalapeños on the plate and get you some sauce and go to town! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
