But David's Bookstore takes it to another level. There are signed copies by remarkable authors like Stephen Fry and Anthony Horowitz. A plethora of secondhand books too: children’s books from my own childhood, vintage editions, antiquarian finds, Folio Society titles, and just when you think you’ve seen it all, you look up—what is that? I didn’t even notice! It’s as if you’ve stepped into a library from 30 years ago. Oh, and there’s music! Vinyl records and a whole selection for your audio enjoyment. Always call in here when in the vicinity to grab a bargain. Came away with a signed book for 95p! Used the cafe too which was lovely.
