We took my mother in law here for a lunch. We thought it was a good choice as we did enjoy food here. Ordered their featured Beijing roasted duck and a vegetable dish. 15 minutes in when they brought vegetable dish, the server advised my husband that duck wouldn't be ready for a while. When asked how long is "the while", server said "I don't know". Since my husband needs to go back to work, he insisted for an answer to decide what to do. The server came back saying "any time between half an hour and an hour". When he asked why it took so long, there came a couple nonsensical answers: we just open; we are busy. Ugh, first we can see you are not that busy (11:30am on a weekday); second, if duc...

Our Great Uncles and Aunts from China had come to visit us. So, they had invited us to joined them to have dinner at Dayali Chinese Fine Cuisine which we never had heard of. We went and enjoyed their food - not overly excited with these kind of food. They had ordered 3 sets of Roasted Peking Ducks which they usually are fatty. They ordered mashed chinese yam with blueberry sauce, pan-fried chinese pancakes, steamed fish with ginger and green onions, sweet and sour pork ribs, deep fried calamari and many other Chinese Peking Cuisine which we find it delicious to eat but not as flavourful as we would imagined to be.Servers was polite, kind and attentive as we were very surprised to see it. Chinese restaurants are notoriously known for bad customer service and this restaurant proved no different. It was difficult to flag down a waiter as they were always busy doing something. Perhaps they were understaffed on Boxing Day but there is no reason for a customer to grab their own plates and take out containers at the end of the meal. I normally order the Peking duck along with the crab roe soup but it looks like they changed the recipe for the soup. It use to be so creamy with crab roe but now it they added salted duck eggs to get the flavour. I really enjoy the food here despite the service because it reminds me of the food in Beijing. It's probably one of the restaurants that has...

We enjoyed the dining experience at the Dayali Restaurant as we had the friendly assistance of the hostess who helped with our menu choices. This is a very busy restaurant with families, couples and groups of young people. We arrived at 6pm and didn't have to wait to be seated, it got progressively busier after that. After receiving assistance navigating the menu we thoroughly enjoyed our meal which arrived hot and in generous portions. If you are adventurous do give it a try. Reserva una mesa ahora

The duck is better and juicier than most Chinese restaurants in Toronto but you are paying to get less. Most other Chinese restaurants cook the rest of the duck to make lettuce wraps but they don't do this here. They also charge you to order more wraps, cucumber and green onion to accompany the duck (Not sure if they charge for extra hoisin sauce). The servers don't speak very good English. Also when asked to split the bill they added on 15% in tip without asking us.

I order th spicy clam but specify not spicy because I have kids. After 5 minutes, it comes with hot chilli,I told the server please change, few minutes later it comes with soy sauce only and it is extremelly cold. I realized the kitchen staff just washed the spicy clam and put soy sauce on it. Unbelieveable. Terrible experience, not recommend toanyone else.

The place is small and crowded. Food was good but the customer service was poor. It was difficult to flag down a server for our bills and they forced us to pay an additional 12% tips per person when we asked to split the bills. Not a pleasant way to end our Chinese new year dinner.

I've never had such a terrible dining experience that I would go out of my way to write a review, but this is it. This restaurant should be avoided. The lack of attention to detail and customer service are apparent in the dining hall. It's...More Reserva una mesa ahora

This is our go-to place for Peking duck in GTA (well sometimes their Richmond store). The Peking duck dish is quite authentic which came with the fatty skin pieces that you can dip in sugar.
