Daysi's Gusto Nicaraguan Cuisine

We moved to the IE from the San Fernando Valley and my Nicaraguan husband missed the food from the homeland. Decided to try this little whole in the wall place and I'm glad we did. Place was packed and staff was super friendly. It took way longer to get our food but it was freshly cooked and tasted absolutely delicious so it was worth it. The Nacatamales were so good he sent photos to his siblings. He preordered two dozen Nacatamales later that week and invited the whole family to come try them. That's how good they were.

Order 2 chese and 2 loroco popusas and 2 cheese were bomb but the loroco where very bad ithink it was the cheese it was expired and taste and smell like baby's drowup and dint even had loroco on it??‍??‍ ?‍???is it just me or loroco popusas are made with diferente cheese like the one they use for elotes? I've try them before and it's not the same???

First of all they close at 7 not 8, and even then most days they will close earlier and say the internet is down when in reality they just dont wanna make anything, if youre lucky enough to get the food thats the only saving grace from this place. Anything but Nicaraguan food , it's like playing lottery , never know what you gonna get .Besides , call before you go , they don't respect the hours of operation advertised .Close as early as 45 minutes before claiming shortage of workers .And you can see four five employees wandering around . Fue mi primera visita a este restaurante. Ordene un Baho que estuvo promedio a la yuca le faltó color y también a la carne ids como buenos nicas saben que la yuca tiene que estar un poco amarilla) si lo recomiendo para los frescos y las tajadas con queso.

Al cocinero le falta mucho, el vigoron mal cocida la yuca sin sabor no sal . La salsa mal sabor tienen buen precio pero la comida no es cálida .

Very nice place and they will help you if you dont know what to order. Arroz de Valencia is highly recommended. Reserva una mesa ahora
