We ate at D’Corato Ristorante on Saturday, May 11, 2024 for a pre-Mother’s Day dinner, and the entire experience was amazing.The family-oriented restaurant was very cute and quaint, you felt like you were eating dinner in Italy. Even the chef came out to talk to us and made sure everything was perfect.This was our first time coming here, and we would now consider it to be our go-to Italian restaurant in Sarasota.We ordered Caesar salad, mussels, veal parmigiana and piccata, lasagna, and the pistachio tiramisu, and it was all a perfect 10.This restaurant is run the old-fashioned way like I remember growing up. My experience with the food and service was amazing. We had our small wedding catered, they delivered on time and the quality of the food was incredible. All our family and friends loved the food. The portions were big, we ate left overs for the next 5 days. The food was like traditional home made Italian food. I highly recommend them!

This is a smaller place, very cozy and private with a very relaxing atmosphere. The food was really good and the portions were quite big. If you like true Italian food you will not be disappointed. As for the service, it was good.

Family owned and run. Food is outstanding. Service is magnificent. Very friendly and welcoming. If you like Italian food D'Corato Ristorant is a must try. Be sure to make a reservation.

Wow... food was absolutely excellent. An extremely comfortable restaurant where you can just sit back and enjoy a superb meal in a cozy environment. I highly recommend. D'Corato.
