Spent 7 night stay here touring WW1 Battlefields, picked this location as central for 'The Somme Area ' and easy to find, close to motorway from Calais. Has everything you need for a relaxing stay, all in one place. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, great shower, lounge area, bar and restaurant. Continental breakfast with loads of choice, food in restaurant is exceptional, nice touch was Chef serving main course to us. Small number of staff working very hard and always there to help. We found the relaxed dress code acceptable and very French, didn 't affect the quality of service. To be honest we were a captive audience and not expecting much but the food was of an exceptionally high standard for a hotel restaurant. We had starters of scallops and prawn cassoulet which were cooked in a lovely sauce, to perfection. My husband father in law had main of deconstructed paella and we had gnocchi with a Gorgonzola sauce and beef which was very tender. The wine list was good and the wine we had delicious. There were no kids options but our kids ate off the main menu. The waitress was very friendly and the service good. Decor and ambience also very nice. Overall good value for the quality and would return if in area again.

We had come to eat for a birthday. We have t concerning the qualit/price ratio. Indeed: prsentation is not top for some dishes some foods were not fresh (be beans) or their beans did not meet our expectations regarding their prices (fals carrots, dry duck, veal rice too salt no ice bucket so that the wine remains fresh. However, we thank servers and services for their professionalism and empowerment. Hopefully our remarks can help you improve.

I enjoyed the cuisine and environment of this restaurant. the card is diversified and the value/price ratio is very good. small down on the service, staff may be a little too present, which does not necessarily correspond to the place.

very pleasant setting. presentation of the plates to the French for the top.par against the content seems light to me compared to the final price of my 3 stars. People are very attractive.

Hotel and room have a really nice modern feel , my room was spacious and air conditioned,which actually worked .The staff were friendly and efficient and my room was kept spotless
