Uninspired by the centre town lunchtime offerings, I chanced upon this very pleasant restaurant beneath a magnificent medieval tower while exploring the old town. My guess the cooking skills required for the more complex a la carte dinner menu dishes might be reflected in the simpler lunchtime menu proved correct and I enjoyed a tasty soup, pasta and a fancy surprise dessert at a very ordinary price. I will be back for dinner in their very attractive formal dining room when I can persuade my partner Biel is more than just a Jura town to change trains.
the restaurant at the edge of the bieler old town is beautiful. the tower (de la tour) belonged to the medieval city wall and you can even eat in a tower room.The kitchen is Italian and belongs to the better what you can get in biel. my tagliata was the very first. the prices are a bit high, but the ambiente counts as well. the wine card should be a bit more detailed. this restaurant is located in an old building of the pretty old town of bene. the proposed kitchen is a very good Italian (this is not a pizzeria.) the map and the service are pleasant. I like the terrace. The plates are treated. very good flavor of all ingredients. prices are in relation to the proposed quality. You have to go without mistake if you go by bene.
