My husband and I went for dinner one night, and I found the food to be delicious. The dinner specials even included a glass of wine and access to a salad bar that featured desserts, including the delightful sweet almond cake from Terrigno's nearby! I thought the menu offered a wide variety of options, and the specials were quite creative. The dishes were flavorful and prepared beautifully, and the service was both attentive and friendly.

I took my customer to Old Towne for lunch on his recommendation. They supposedly had taken over the menu from another historic local establishment which had burned down. Ashlea was our waitress and did a great job keeping glasses filled and ensuring we should relax and take our time. I ordered the crab cake sandwich while my customer ordered the Mediterranean salad. Had I known how nice the salad was, I would have ordered as well. Many large shrimp along with lump crabmeat added. My crab cake was very good. Done in Maryland Crab Style with tartar sauce on the side. Served with a cup of chicken noodle soup which was also very good.
The manager asked us to leave after we ordered the bone-in prime rib. He informed us that only one person at a table could order it. He implied that if we didn't want to leave, we would still have to pay for the meal, even though we hadn't touched the food. He had an accent and mentioned he was from Turkey. As the only Black people in the restaurant, we felt embarrassed by the way he treated us in front of others. We ended up paying and tipping the waitress, but we left feeling humiliated. I wouldn’t return to this restaurant, and neither will my friends, especially after I shared my experience on Facebook.
(Note that the bad reviews are all quite old... This is the kind of restaurant where the dishes are named things like oysters Rockefeller and salmon Oscar, and serves as a staple place for locals for nicer dinners out. It's fairly unique in Bridgeton, I think. Their dinner entrees include the salad bar, bread bar, and dessert bar. The seafood is quite good. They also have a friendly bar area for those not interested in committing to a full dinner. The atmosphere is fairly friendly and casual, but the food and service is a little higher quality than you usually find around here.

little subpar tonight! We took a friend visiting from Georgia. Her Salmon was dry and no sauce she asked for Fried Shrimp instead and they were not seasoned, very bland. I asked for a pork chop with no salt and it definitely has salt on it. The table next to us had London Broil and the Fried Shrimp. Neither one liked their food. They asked them if they wanted their meals wrapped to go and the guy said he wouldn't feed that to his dog. The lady said she didn't want the shrimp but she would feed them to her cat. Very Disappointed with our experience!
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was poor, and the waitress was rude. She seemed more focused on a group of her friends than on her customers. As a result, she didn't clear our table, bring us water, or attend to any of the usual responsibilities of a waitress. Overall, it was a bad experience, and I won't be returning.

Excellent food. Excellent service. Delicious drinks and salad and dessert bar at meals. The cook is top-notch. Never had a bad meal there and we tried most dishes to serve them.

Top quality meals, great salad and dessert bar. When I want a consistently good meal this is where I go. They are very accommodating for large parties. Plenty of parking.
Very friendly staff and the food was really good. We were there early so it was pretty empty.
