This certainly is a little bit of England in rural France with a variety of drinks and food. Closest French equivalent is a brasserie, with an informal bar area, plus outside pub style seating and a room dedicated to more of a restaurant approach. But if you're expecting French atmosphere with French food etc.. you will be disappointed. On the other hand if you want a full English breakfast, delicious pizza, a snack or a meal, plus British/Irish beer without any language barriers then you'll be in your element, especially as it's open early and closes late 7 days a week. There's also an outside disco/entertainment on a Saturday during high season. Highly recommended to complement the boulangerie and visits to other restaurants, and is especially convenient - easy walking distance - if you are staying at Les Forges.

Been threatening to try this place since it opened not long ago. Lots of garden furniture outside and we found a table easily enough. Menus simple enough - grills, pizzas or burgers. Having heard someone had a good steak I tried the rump but at 17 euros was a little disappointed, no real taste. Chips good.Wife tried salmon burger which was, apparently, very nice; followed by sticky toffee pudding, also good.Half carafe of wine 6.50 euros - fine.Staff friendly and helpful. Food served quickly and hot.No real problems, but quality may not be consistent.Quite a few tables inside for when weather changes.Prices quite high - probably need menu du jour to attract French.

Restaurant recently opened so everything clean and fresh. Menu simple and varied enough with specials such as curry on the night we visited. Staff vey accommodating and pleasant and food freshly prepared, hot when it should be and tasty. Just establishing itself, but if the staff continue with their enthusiasm it should succeed as long as it maintains it's appeal to the French, English and other nationalities accordingly.Wishing the restaurant every success and would recommend.

Traditional english meals with a variety of French and Dutch helpings. Lovely Guinness on tap and very lovely and keen staff. If your in the area, i recommend stopping by! I will be back next year when i return on holiday!
