We came to Baldwin for our annual salmon fishing trip. We've been coming here for well over 30 years. The last few years have wreaked havoc on our usual dinner spots as a number of them closed (or burnt down). On the recommendation of our host, We dropped in here for dinner. When we sat down, we were the only diners in the place (another group came in afterwards). We ordered four burrito dinners. After a while, we were told it would take extra time as they could only cook two meals at a time. Our first two burritos came out. The meat was burnt and shell was tough enough we had to supply our own pocket knife to cut it. The utensils they provided couldn't make a dent. Some 15 minutes late, the...
Just went to eat for the 3rd time. The first time was good. The second time took a long time to get food.But tonight was just crazy. Went at 8:20pm and ordered an appetizer it took over an hour and a half. Then got artichoke dip and chips and then the dinner right after. My husband ordered a hamburger and wedge fries. And was given regular fries told the waitress that they are a dollar more for the fries that that he ordered. But he was like that is not what I wanted. We did not leave till 10:20pm. It took forever.Never came to check on us to see if I Needed a refill. I had to go to bar to ask.I get that it is not the waitress fault the food took fooooeeevvvveerr !! But she could have checke...
First of all it took over 15 minutes to get menus. Secondly everything was wrong. I ordered my steak rare and it came out medium well. My microwaved baked potato was not cooked. The little girl ordered onion rings and got french fries. The water pitcher had a bunch of ketchup on it and that was gross. Oh, and on top of that it was a expensive also.
not from the city and that was our first experience, but eating was great. the personal was super courtesy and made sure our experience was great. next time we are fishing in the city, we will make sure we take another meal here. I want to add everything we have done to home, which is a huge plus. fair prices and beautiful portions!
