First off the place was empty when we first arrived. Then the waitress offered us the option of still or sparkling water, no mention that it was a charge. Then we waited over 45 minutes for our food and then the food was warm. The salad was drenched in dressing and the greens were soggy. When I complained the waitress never offered to make any amends or compensation. Overall, the food was mediocre and the only thing it had going for itself was when the band began to play at 9pm. Most patrons were there to see the band and when we overheard other people wanting to order, the waitress said that the kitchen was backed up. With whom??? We only saw 3 tables ordering food. Won't be back!!!
Overall, our experience at this restaurant was mostly positive. However, we were disappointed with the dessert. On our first attempt to visit, the restaurant was closed earlier than their posted hours, which we assumed was due to slow business. We decided to give it another chance and this time everything was good except for the dessert. We ordered a chocolate mousse but it was still frozen, which was a major letdown. For a place called Decadence, we expected a higher quality dessert. We suspect it was pre-made. We would recommend trying the molten lava cake from Trader Joe's instead.
My husband I booked last minute for an early dinner. It was quiet in restaurant at 6p but the bar was full for happy hour. We had cocktails, shared the fried cauliflower which was delicious, and ordered salmon with noodles and a pear goat cheese salad with chicken. The food was very good, tasty and good portions. Lisa, our waitress, provided good service without being bothersome. Definitely be going again.
The cheeseburger was fantastic, but sorry to say the skirt steak was not very good. And when we expressed our dislike we were only given 50% off, which is better than nothing, but we expected not to be charged for something didn't like. With so many great choices in Hermosa Beach, we probably won't return.

Wine selection is good, selection varies. Food is awful. Had the charcuterie and cheese board for $28 and food tasted old like it’s been on that board for. 1 2 days. Bread was stale. And in house made nuts (good flavor) were soft and guey (left outside) … sad.
Skyler, the owner, gave us great personal service. The ambience is a great vibe. There was music that started at 7 o'clock, and to duo playeddate of perfect volume. The craft cocktails are excellent and the food was also excellent. Check it out.
This was my first visit to this restaurant and I had a wonderful experience. The drinks were all amazing and Skylar recommended all of our dishes, which were excellent. I will definitely be returning!
The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and the atmosphere was cool. They also host bingo, which was fun to watch and participate in.

Wonderful experience. Food was amazing. Wonderful atmosphere with live music on a Saturday evening. Will be back.
