went here for breakfast, the only time the prices are somewhat reasonable food despite the claims of best breakfast awards, the food was very average. an effort to make it look appealing but nothing better than putting diner food in a rectangular plate service crap, disorganized, waiters were rude, water never came, coffee order was wrong, coffee took 30 min to come, the place wasn't even full. I know waiters don't live off tips here, but com'on. atmosphere if you have one of the few tables outside, with a glimpse of sydney, must be nice. Inside though looks like a boat hanger. So my 3/5 is more for the view and atmosphere of the place rather than the menu. You're definitely paying for the view more than the food so I'd recommend coming for lunch rather than dinner when you can actually enjoy the view. As others have mentioned the portion size is rather small for what you're paying for. I ordered the salmon which was an ok size but wasn't totally satisfied after. Guess that's why I'm supposed to order an entree or dessert as well huh? We came for an early lunch but once it started to get busy towards the end of our meal the waitstaff became a little less attentive and it actually took a little while to get our bill to pay. We were celebrated our daughters birthday with a Sunday lunch. The location is excellent with great views. The service started a bit strange as the staff were scrambling for menus by taking 2 menus from our table as the birthday girl hadn't arrived yet so when they did arrive no menus could be found initially. The menus did arrive back in the end after having to asking for them. The staff seemed overwhelmed even though the restaurant wasn't full it was just like any other Sydney restaurant on a sunny Sunday. The meals were not outstanding just on the top end of average by that I mean not exciting.
Came here for a Sunday lunch with a visitor from overseas on a recommendation and didn't look at the Yelp reviews first. Ba-bow... The other folks have pretty much covered it off. Food was average but very overpriced, service was very slow and hard to catch anybody's attention, and the noise level was astonishing for such a big venue.
