excellent choice for a romantic night! beautiful atmosphere, quiet, picturesque and elegant furnishings. has a well-stocked bar, but has limited selection of mixed drinks (my wife wanted a standard mosque mule, but they were not in the position to accommodate). certainly, this is not a deal breaker from every stretch, because they are more than for those with the most amazing wine selection I have ever seen (my dinner drink of choice). the cheese, sun-dried tomaten, and roasted red pfeffer was amazing, but I had known that it would cost more than my main course I would have reconstructed order a main course. the pasta was perfect, but found the ricotta tortellini needed a little more taste....

Beautiful meal served in a fabulous atmosphere, it’s not hard to understand why so many people return to this restaurant. We enjoyed martinis while reviewing the menu. The bread and dips were a very nice touch , and appetizers did not disappoint. I ordered the ravioli special (stuffed with crab and finished off with shrimp). It was fabulous. My husband opted for the octopus which was perfectly cooked. I opted for the rabbit as a main and it did not disappoint. It was flavourful and not overcooked. My husband opted for a classic fegato Venetian style, and again this was a perfect dish. Sadly, We were too full for dessert, I’m guessing it would have been awesome! The appetizer of cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and roasted red peppers was AMAZING, but had I realized it would cost more than my main course, I might have opted out of ordering a main dish. The pasta was perfect, although I found the ricotta tortellini could use a bit more flavor. My wife adored her gnocchi, claiming it was just as delightful as what we enjoyed at a sidewalk café during our honeymoon in Italy. I was honestly surprised that the restaurant wasn't fully booked on Valentine's night. This place deserves to be busy every evening. With over 2,000 dining options in NYC, I would easily skip the rest and happily return here again.
