Del Pollo - Reservar una mesa

We will not return to this place. From just walking in it had a dirty odour. Boards are loose as you step from inside out, a safety issue. just needs an easy repair. Once we were outside, I thought okay, the flower boxes are nice, pleasant atmosphere...we'll give it a try. Should have known my instincts were right, my wine glass arrived with an old lipstick stain on it...food came and was mostly edible, but poor. The worst beans I've ever had, Mexico included.Couldn't help but notice how filthy the salt and pepper shakers were tucked inside a beer box with napkins. Then noticed little ants running from them all over the place.Such a shame that this owner can't see the potential he has there, great location, lovely outside area, could have many repeat customers if he just spruced the place up. A good cleaning from top to bottom, and improve the quality of the food, it could be a great place people would revisit. Staff tried to do their best, they just need better management to get some basic cleaning practises in place.

My daughter and I were there on Sunday night and we both ordered Burritos, her vegetarian and mine chicken. They were not good at all, this place has really gone downhill since it changed hands a while back but we thought we would give it one more try. My chicken burrito had so much white rice in it I thought that maybe I should ask for chopsticks. It was suppose to come with guacamole so we asked about it ( mine had about 3 piece of avacado on top of it and they were about the size of an eraser on top of a pencil ) they told me mine did have guacamole on it but they forgot my daughters. I said are you kidding 3 tiny pieces of avacado is guacamole? Really the whole burrito did not taste good at all. No wonder our server never came back to ask us how the first bite tasted. We will never go back there again that was $34.00 I regret spending. Next time we will go back to Viva Mexico in downtown Langley on the one way strip where we had a fantastic dinner at a much better price.

My wife and I were on a motor cycle ride around the Lower Mainland. As we drove through Aldergrove we spotted the outside patio packed with people...(a good sign the food is great)..We stopped to eat. Upon the waitress's recommend my wife had the "Burrito Bowl" and loved it. I had the Chicken enchilada's and loved them. They portions were generous. and tasty. Accompanied by a pint of Pale Ale for myself and a Peach Margarita for my wife. Both very good. Though this is about and hour ride from our house we will definitely make the journey back here again on one of our rides. The service was top nothch as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy Mexican food and are looking for a great experience.

'Twas a beautiful Friday evening ☀️in Aldergrove. Busy night service is extremely slow ????. Unfortunately food was average at best ???? we will give them the benefit of the doubt ... will return in the near future to try again ???? Kerry (Emoji Guy)

So this place has really cool environment, feels like Mexican cantina. The food? Really, Mexican is not that hard, but these guys do not get it. Chips: out of a bag. Food, blah, not even close. If you want Mexican, keep trying.
