Theres an overwhelming emphasis placed on the coffee and their process for getting the coffee is really stupid. They have really outdated POS systems still taking orders by hand and using a register from the 70s.. asking customers to show the price of items while ringing them up. Whoever owns this place really doesn't care about making his food good. Ordered a 3 egg omelette it was god awful. Forgot my cheese, definitely didnt have 3 eggs and their idea of a spinach and onion omelette is cooking egg really thin and throwing raw spinach and onion on it. They were out of every single bagel except tie dye and egg (yes, tie dye is plain bagels with food coloring). Dont go here! Either stop charg...
Even though it was my first time at this café, I have been a fan of Delancey's Bagels for years! My Nana Bea (rest in peace) would always order dozens of bagels from here and share them with my mother and me, and the pumpernickel/roggen drall bagels were always my favorites! The café has a cozy atmosphere with friendly staff ready to assist. I ordered coffee and they had several flavors to choose from (as well as non-dairy milk options). I also tried the Toscana grilled chicken sandwich on a pumpernickel bagel and it was delicious! I will continue our bagel tradition in our family by coming back here!
This is a nice bagel shop for a quick bite to eat when you are shopping. The issue I have with this place is the staff and service. The young lady that took my order was not very inviting. It wouldn’t kill you to smile. I ordered ice coffee and had to wait 10 minutes for the barista to come to the expresso station to prepare it. Then, they ran out of oatmilk. Also, I ordered my food to eat in, but they gave me take out, which is a waste of bags. This place has the potential to be great, but with so many other food options in the shopping center, this place just won’t be my go to.
Customer Service is horrible, first time ordering and there was hair in my food , second time ordering there was no meat on my Breakfast sandwich, a mistake done on their behalf, instead of making a new sandwich and it being what I asked for they give me a side of Turkey bacon. Will never order from here again. And the employees Didn’t even apologize. And basically tried to say it was my fault instead of taking accountability and satisfying the customer which should always be top priority. We ordered two steak, egg, and cheese bagels and they were terrible! The eggs were rubbery and dry, the steak was bland and watery, and the cheese didn't melt at all. The bagel was hard as a rock and completely inedible. The restaurant itself was clean and quiet, with an attractive website, but I would not recommend eating here. Save yourself the disappointment and avoid this place at all costs.
make them a hard fit at this place. it's so over, it's the best. I was appalled at the plate of the müll they gave me who insisted on eating. it was not edible and they missed the half of the ingredients. $20 wasted. also the floor was dirty, the tables and the coffee area were all dirty. coffee is also disgusting.
