I've gone here three times and every time the food tasted fantastic! The first time I came I ordered a plain sandwich with turkey, cheese, and mayo on it and it tasted significantly better than the sandwiches I'd get at Jersey Mikes. My mom also liked her bbq pork sandwich that she ordered here as well. The second time I came here I ordered a cheesesteak and a Taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel for my mom. I can tell this place is genuine since they knew exactly what I was talking about. I had an appointment in the area and arrived early, so I decided to stop at Deli South. This restaurant deserves more recognition. It is located near the local Post Office off of Catoctin SE. The property may seem underdeveloped, and the parked trucks may give off an industrial vibe, but once you enter, you will find Deli South, a great eatery with well-made food and friendly staff. I originally planned to have breakfast, but when I saw the pastrami sandwich on the menu, I had to try it. It was delicious and prepared perfectly. I chose to dine in as the atmosphere was spacious and well-maintained. If you are in the area, be sure to stop by Deli South for a meal. It's definitely worth it.
Vibes were off, we had gotten the turkey bacon melt. The sandwich itself so dry, there was absolutely no melt and on top of that there were long stands of HAIR IN THE SANDWICH. Thankfully they gave us another sandwich but that’s the least they could do. Once we finished and we had to put our plates in the dish return area that was piled high with plates and a trash can that was close to being overflowing.

This restaurant is a charming spot with delicious, homemade food. The soup was incredibly tasty and my favorite part of the meal. The friendly service always puts a smile on my face. You have the option to dine in or take out.
The bagels and breakfast sandwiches at this restaurant are excellent. My son tried the chorizo omelette and I had the egg and cheese croissant sandwich, and both were fantastic.
I love to eat here. Chorizo hash and corned beef hash are my favorites. Food is usually quick even though it tends to be busy.
Great sandwich and breakfast deli. Their Ruben is one of the best around.
